The Communications Coordinator works directly with our Communications Manager and leadership to align on goals and core messaging, then lead our company-wide efforts to produce and distribute expert content via our website, social channels, email, webinars, and occasional in-person events. This role is based out of our Central Store Support office. Occasional travel is required for store visits as needed.
Responsibilities:
Crafting consistent messaging for all internal and external communications.
Assist in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that build brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Dig into numbers - compiling data and analyzing MOM’s media activity.
Engage with brands - team up with vendors to organize Grand Opening events and on MOM’s social media channels.
Assist in the management of social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Tiktok, etc.), review data and present it to the Communications Manager for evaluation.
Tell compelling, accurate, and inspirational stories of our work which will both generate awareness and loyalty.
Coordinate and guide the creation and distribution of content across all channels according to a marketing calendar.
Collaborate regularly with different departments to align on goals, metrics, and strategy.
Contribute to the direction of these teams by reporting back trends, data, and intel that you see amongst our peers, customers, and prospective hires.
Use data to determine your priorities and use tools, processes, or delegation to gain efficiency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
1-3 years’ related experience
Experience with Google Suite
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Previous experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
Ability to analyze feedback received and implement into current and future work
Ability to analyze and research issues and offer swift solution/resolution
Can-do attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
Experience in a fast-paced work environment
Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field
Certificate and/or experience in Google Ads, a plus
Experience with social media platforms, Yelp Business, Google Business, a plus
Experience with working in ticketing system (ex. Zendesk), a plus
