The Environmental and Partnerships Coordinator mission is to minimize waste, coordinate outreach and partnerships, and seek volunteer opportunities that align with our brand to help people at MOM’s and our customers live Our Purpose. This role is based out of our Central Store Support office. Occasional travel is required for store visits as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Research non profit organizations that align with MOM’s Purpose, and evaluate for potential partnering opportunities. Present findings to the EPM.

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of activities across sustainability functions.

  • Coordinate the planning and scoping of the multiple projects with different departments.

  • Effectively communicate project statuses.

  • Ensure project documents and regular updates are complete/current and available for program managers and leadership review.

  • Effectively build relationships across organizational lines and steer groups towards a common goal where necessary.

  • Coordinate volunteer activities for a store or stores in a given region.

  • Coordinate and support tabling preparation for stores at community events including logistics of needed materials.

  • Effectively maintain and keep up to date roster of participants in the ER program. 

  • Effectively maintain and keep up to date In Store Donation Coordinator documentation and related material.

  • Develop surveys and reports as needed in support of the Environmental Restoration program.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • 1-3 years experience in field or career

  • Previous experience successfully leading projects

  • Proficient in Google Suite 

  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful

  • Strong problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to effectively build relationships across organizational lines and steer groups towards a common goal

  • Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands

  • Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment

  • Interest in company culture and desire to grow in the field

  • Experience with managing partnerships and donations, a plus

  • 3-5 years experience in field or career, a plus
