The stunning family property of Moonfleet Manor Hotel, near Weymouth has a superb opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join their lovely team.

What you’ll be doing:

You will hold yourself to a high culinary standard and it is your attention to each preparation that keeps guests wanting more. Working with a team of inspired professionals you will learn something different every day as you work with new seasonal menus and unique presentations.

You will prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu to exceptional standards.  You will operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, whilst ensuring the proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen.

What we’re looking for:

·         Great teamwork skills and attention to detail.

·         Previous experience working within a kitchen environment.

·         A relevant culinary qualification to a minimum of level 2, and a food hygiene certificate is desirable.

·         A positive, welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills.

·         To be highly motivated and pro-active; acting with professionalism in all interactions

·         Confidence in Kitchen operations and the order of service

·         The ability to deal calmly with unexpected situations and crises.

·         A flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
