SUMMARY OF POSITION 

What's the Gig, You Ask? 

As a Clays Games Host, you'll be the maestro of fun, the captain of excitement, and the ultimate purveyor of good times. Your mission? To turn every group booking into an epic adventure that leaves our guests buzzing with excitement and eagerness to book again. Whether you're leading groups through our six clay shooting games, dishing out high-fives like confetti, or inventing new competitions on the fly, you'll be the heart and soul of the party from start to finish.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities;

What happens on your shift?

  • The Games Master will liaise with the Duty Manager/Events Manager/Floor Manager regarding any specific requirements
  • Introduce yourself to the lead booker and explain your role and responsibilities throughout the booking
  • Depending on what type of event it is (eg: Work social, Christmas party, Company client-mixer) you will gauge the room and tailor your performance and socialising with the group
  • Encourage team battles and friendly competition
  • Explain how to play the games, register, use the guns/kiosk as well as hints and tips so they have the best experience
  • Use a headset and Mic/handheld mic as required
  • Supporting our guests move around the venue, to table bookings or support with prizes and gifting at the end of the event

What happens during game time?

  • Check in regularly with guests to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves and understanding how to get the best out of their experience
  • Reiterate how to play the games/use the equipment for anyone who may not have fully understood the first time around
  • Arrange tournaments
  • Ensure everyone is getting involved! 
  • Upselling prizes (vouchers, bottles of champagne or bubbles) 
  • Assist Clays team as required:
    • Pass on any relevant details/information between guests and Clays
    • Clearing tables 
    • Assist guests with their belongings/bags/coats etc

WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN

We value our colleagues greatly and want everyone to feel rewarded. This role is offered with a competitive hourly rate of £11.75 plus £2.25 per hour Tronc service charge and Tronc bonuses. Shifts will be a minimum of 4 hours per day
