What you’ll do

The Assistant Residences Manager supports the day-to-day operations of the Residences, ensuring the highest level of service, safety, and efficiency is delivered to residents and guests. Acting as the primary point of support for the Residences Manager, this role oversees concierge team, coordinates with contractors and internal departments, and ensures all operational standards, and service expectations are consistently met.

Operations & Service Delivery

  • Support the Residences Manager in overseeing daily operations across concierge, security, housekeeping, engineering, and third-party service providers.
  • Monitor service standards and ensure residents and guests receive a seamless, luxury-level experience.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for resident requests, complaints, or operational issues, resolving promptly and diplomatically.
  • Assist with planning and execution of resident engagement activities and community initiatives.

Team Supervision

  • Provide daily support, guidance, and supervision to the concierge team.
  • Ensure rotas, timecards and shift handovers are managed effectively.
  • Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Uphold professional standards and ensure team grooming standards are in line with brand guidelines.

Administration & Finance

  • Stock management 
  • Maintain accurate resident records, logs, CRM and reporting systems.
  • Prepare operational and incident reports for the Residences Manager.
  • Monthly billing

The operational hours of work are shift-based and may be subjected to change. These currently set as: Full-time, shift-based role including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required. On-call support may be required for emergencies.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; tactful and diplomatic.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive situations.
  • Knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and building management best practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within luxury residential, hospitality, or property management.
  • Strong track record of delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Understanding of building operations, service charge structures, and contractor management desirable.
  • First Aid, Fire Safety, or Health & Safety training an advantage.
