Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our Head Office team near Marble Arch.

About Us

MW Eat is a unique collection of award-winning restaurants - spanning both fine dining restaurants and brasserie restaurants - widely regarded as among the best of their type. The fine dining restaurants are Chutney Mary, Veeraswamy and Amaya. The brasserie restaurants consist of the Masala Zone group. All are situated in central London.

We pay great attention to training and personal development. Our commitment to a multi-cultural team, including 20 different nationalities and around 500 staff, is on-going in the pursuit of training to the highest of standards. 

The Role

The main purpose of the role will be to act as head office receptionist and provide key support to the database team.

This is a part-time position, Monday to Wednesday, 9am – 5.45pm.

Key Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:

  • Deal with enquiries in a polite and professional manner
  • Answer and transfer calls correctly and efficiently
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
  • Efficient sorting, distributing and filing all post
  • Filing of all paperwork, collating forms and producing materials for restaurants
  • Managing deliveries and sending packages
  • Assisting the HR Team
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Managing meeting rooms
  • Provide general support to company management

Administration Duties:

  • Update, modify and maintain the customer Access database
  • Produce address labels, mail merge letters and general reports from company database
  • Inputting information and data into stock-control system
  • Input and analysis of data using Excel
  • General ad-hoc duties when required

Key Requirements

Approximately 1 - 2 years of experience in a general administration

Strong customer service attitude

Excellent communication skills, total fluency in English is essential

Good knowledge of British people and place names

Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

Computer literate with ability to input data accurately

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel / spreadsheet management

Experience of data entry, ideally with knowledge of Microsoft Access mail-merge functions.

Experience in inputting data into stock-control packages is an advantage
