As a Pastry Commis Chef at Roka, you’ll work alongside talented chefs to create desserts that delight our guests, while developing your skills in a dynamic and inspiring kitchen. Our desserts are crafted with precision and passion, adding the perfect touch to our exceptional dining experience. 

Roka is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. Roka Mykonos offers diners a seasonal, sun-soaked escape, where vibrant dishes, inventive cocktails, and live DJs set the scene for unforgettable summer days and nights. ROKA embodies the spirit of coming together and sharing a collective dining experience, (RO) symbolises the atmosphere and (KA), the heat of fire from the Robata

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare food products following recipes and senior chefs' instructions, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
  • Maintain adequate mise en place levels for seamless service, focusing on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
  • Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all food products, delivering excellence in every dish
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with  Roka’s cleanliness and safety standards
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance to reflect Roka’s commitment to professionalism
