POSITION SUMMARY
As Head Chef at NAC, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations — from menu development and team leadership to ensuring the highest culinary and hygiene standards. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, precision, and strong leadership, with a focus on maintaining NAC’s reputation for quality and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food consistently.
Oversee all kitchen operations including prep, service, stock management, and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene regulations, and health & safety standards.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage ordering to control food costs.
Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Uphold NAC’s standards for presentation, consistency, and innovation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure while managing a busy kitchen.
Strong knowledge of kitchen management, budgeting, and cost control.
Commitment to training and developing your team.
Food Hygiene Level 3 certification (or higher) preferred.
