Kitchen Supervisor


Description
A kitchen supervisor will be responsible for cooking food during service to the exact specifications of the establishment, chef
and guest. They must also be able to uphold their coworkers to these standards, by proactively teaching and coaching alongside of them. They will be expected to skillfully apply culinary techniques including basic knife skills, demonstrate a
working knowledge of all kitchen equipment and assist chefs and fellow kitchen staff as needed to execute a
successful service.

Additionally, a kitchen supervisor will be expected to effectively execute recipes; adhere to yield guides and properly rotate,
store, label and date all products. They will often be responsible to close the kitchen cleanly and thoroughly in a timely manner; monitoring the productivity of the other employees while doing so.
To be successful in this position, they must demonstrate
excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, teamwork and a sense of urgency. We are interested in an ambitious and conscientious person who wants to grow, and is passionate about serving the highest possible quality food.

Previous kitchen experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant is required.
