Job Title: Administrative Assistant – Inventory & Payroll Support
Location(s): Native Restaurant (Brooklyn), Native Restaurant (Harlem), Lagos TSQ
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Supervisor/Managers

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Administrative Assistant to support our office operations, with a strong focus on inventory control and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative tasks, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting payroll operations in a timely and confidential manner.

Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings for management.

  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.

  • Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital).

  • Order and manage office supplies and equipment.

  • Assist with general office duties and staff support as needed.

Inventory Management
  • Track, record, and manage inventory levels accurately.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for order placements and deliveries.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Maintain inventory databases or spreadsheets.

  • Prepare inventory reports and forecast needs based on trends.

Payroll Support
  • Collect, verify, and input employee time records.

  • Assist with weekly payroll processing.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with policies.

  • Liaise with HR/Accounting for tax forms, deductions, and benefits.

  • Handle payroll-related inquiries confidentially and professionally.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.

  • 4+ years of administrative experience; payroll or inventory experience a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with payroll and inventory software a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
