Job Title: Front of House (FOH) Manager
Location(s): Native Restaurant (Brooklyn), Native Restaurant (Harlem), Lagos TSQ
Reports To: General Manager / Owner / Executive Chef
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role is key to maintaining smooth daily operations, managing staff, and upholding the highest standards of customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily FOH operations, including opening/closing procedures
Lead, train, and schedule FOH staff (hosts, servers, bartenders, etc.)
Deliver and maintain excellent guest service standards
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
Monitor reservations, waitlists, and seating flow
Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service
Manage FOH inventory and supplies (e.g., menus, uniforms, POS supplies)
Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes
Maintain POS systems and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
Proven experience in a FOH management or supervisory role (1–3 years preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Solid knowledge of hospitality service standards and guest experience best practices
Comfortable using POS and reservation systems
Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Food safety or alcohol service certifications (where applicable) are a plus
