Job Title: Front of House (FOH) Manager
Location(s): Native Restaurant (Brooklyn), Native Restaurant (Harlem), Lagos TSQ
Reports To: General Manager / Owner / Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role is key to maintaining smooth daily operations, managing staff, and upholding the highest standards of customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily FOH operations, including opening/closing procedures

  • Lead, train, and schedule FOH staff (hosts, servers, bartenders, etc.)

  • Deliver and maintain excellent guest service standards

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally

  • Monitor reservations, waitlists, and seating flow

  • Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards

  • Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service

  • Manage FOH inventory and supplies (e.g., menus, uniforms, POS supplies)

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes

  • Maintain POS systems and ensure cash handling procedures are followed

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a FOH management or supervisory role (1–3 years preferred)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

  • Solid knowledge of hospitality service standards and guest experience best practices

  • Comfortable using POS and reservation systems

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Food safety or alcohol service certifications (where applicable) are a plus
