Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

Location: NYC

Salary: $140,000 - $155,000

Bonus: 15% Quarterly

Summary

Founded in 2008 and rooted in Middle Eastern culinary heritage, NAYA is on an exciting growth trajectory — with a bold plan to expand rapidly across new markets in the next 3-5 years. As we scale our portfolio of restaurants, we are not only focused on reaching ambitious business milestones but also committed to creating meaningful career pathways for our people.

At NAYA, growth is more than store-count — it’s personal development, leadership opportunities, and a culture where our teams grow together as we build something exceptional.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As the Regional Director of Operations (RDO), you’ll lead a region of 20+ restaurants and the people who bring our mission to life every day. You’ll guide and develop a talented team of Area and General Managers, ensuring our operations deliver exceptional guest experiences, consistent results, and a culture our teams are proud to be part of.

You’ll balance strategy with execution—driving operational performance, optimizing financial outcomes, and fostering growth for both people and the business. You’ll model our values, create clarity for your teams, and build an environment where people feel connected, supported, and inspired to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine systems and processes that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Maintain compliance with all food safety, labor, and operational regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Training, Supply Chain, and Finance) to drive initiatives that elevate the guest experience and support business growth.

Financial & Business Performance

  • Manage restaurant-level P&L performance to achieve or exceed sales, profitability, and cost control targets.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and solutions that drive sustainable business results.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to plan, forecast, and execute annual budgets.
  • Monitor and adjust operating strategies to meet changing business conditions and priorities.

  • Champion a people-first culture that celebrates diversity, teamwork, and professional growth.
  • Model and reinforce company mission, values, and leadership behaviors at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace where employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to perform their best.
  • Promote open communication, active feedback, and recognition across all teams.
