How You’ll Impact

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of our construction projects. This role will be responsible for managing contractors, vendors, schedules, and budgets while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company standards. The Construction Manager will also collaborate closely with internal teams (Real Estate, Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Design) to ensure seamless project delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end project execution for new restaurant builds, remodels, and tenant improvements from pre-construction to handoff.
  • Review and negotiate work letters and leases in coordination with the Real Estate team to clearly define landlord and tenant responsibilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to design specs and timelines, and resolve job site issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, ADA requirements, permitting processes, and health regulations.
  • Manage project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and close-out packages.
  • Coordinate across departments including Real Estate, Design, Facilities, Operations, and Finance to align priorities and ensure seamless execution.
  • Report progress and risks clearly and regularly to senior leadership.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies, including cost savings, time reduction, and repeatable processes for future projects.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects in the QSR and restaurant sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects across different regions, timelines, and jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, project scheduling (e.g., Gantt charts, milestones), budgeting, permitting, and contract negotiation.
  • Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment coordination, utility installation, ADA compliance, inspections, and final CO (certificate of occupancy) process.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar.
  • Comfortable traveling to job sites, sometimes on short notice, and working flexibly to meet project milestones.
