Position Title: HR Manager

Location: Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Koh Samui

Reports To: General Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent


Position Overview

At Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Koh Samui, the HR Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping our team culture and championing the associate experience. You are both a strategic partner and a hands-on executor—balancing compliance, recruitment, development, and associate welfare with the brand’s vibrant energy and global outlook. As an advocate for employee engagement and operational excellence, you’ll help build a dynamic workplace where people thrive and deliver their best every day.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and uphold Nikki Beach HR policies, SOPs, and labor law compliance
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, files, and databases
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for local and expatriate talent
  • Manage HR documentation including contracts, offer letters, visa processes, and exit protocols
  • Administer monthly payroll, ensuring precise timekeeping, deductions, and settlements
  • Oversee compensation benchmarking, benefits tracking, and approved adjustments
  • Coordinate annual reviews, probation evaluations, and employee development planning
  • Drive staff welfare programs including wellness events, recognition moments, and birthday celebrations
  • Supervise staff housing, transport services, and dining operations
  • Monitor grooming and behavioral standards, leading coaching or disciplinary actions where necessary
  • Ensure timely and engaging internal communication through newsletters and staff updates
  • Liaise with local government agencies for labor, safety, and immigration matters
  • Prepare HR reports and support audit and compliance activities
  • Collaborate on succession planning and internal growth initiatives
  • Safeguard employee relations with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism


Required Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of HR management experience, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Thai labor laws, work permits, and expatriate visa procedures
  • Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS), timekeeping platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Thai language skills are a significant advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented approach
