Position: Finance Manager
Location: Nikki Beach Resort & Spa - Koh Samui, Thailand

Position Overview
As Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations of Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Koh Samui, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective business partnering across all departments. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making, managing cash flow, and maintaining the integrity of the property's financial operations.
Working closely with the General Manager, Corporate Finance Team, ownership representatives, auditors, and local authorities, you will provide financial leadership while ensuring the hotel operates in line with company policies, local regulations, and international accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting and finance functions of the resort.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare forecasts, budgets, cash flow projections, and variance analyses.
Present financial results and business insights to senior leadership and ownership.
Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting exercises.
Support long-term financial planning and business strategy development.
Monitor departmental spending and provide guidance on cost control initiatives.
Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure proposals.
Develop, implement and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies.
Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper document retention practices.
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
Oversee banking activities, cash management, and financial risk mitigation.
Ensure proper management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions.
Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely payments.
Review employment-related financial obligations, benefits, and statutory contributions.
Support contract administration and financial review of vendor and supplier agreements.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with department heads to drive financial awareness and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance to ensure alignment with company standards and reporting requirements.
Support hotel projects, operational initiatives, and business expansion activities from a financial perspective.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Professional accounting qualification preferred.
Understanding of local market
Minimum 5-7 years of progressive finance experience within hospitality, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong understanding of hotel finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and compliance.
Experience managing audits, financial controls, and statutory reporting.
Proven ability to influence business decisions through financial analysis and strategic thinking.
Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluency in English and Thai
