Position: HR Business Partner

Position Overview
As HR Business Partner, you are responsible for all HR-related matters within the location. You act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees alike, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws. Your role is essential in creating a supportive, professional, and motivating work environment, ensuring that Lucia attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
Post job ads, screen applications, schedule and conduct interviews together with leadership.
Prepare and manage employment contracts, personnel files, and HR documentation.
Process and oversee payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours, overtime, and benefits.
Monitor employee schedules, attendance, absences, and leave requests.
Support managers in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
Ensure compliance with labor regulations, health & safety, and company policies.
Organize employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
Conduct performance reviews and support career development planning.
Manage housing contracts and accommodation for staff.
Maintain clear HR records, track key HR metrics, and report to the General Manager.
Act as the point of contact between employees, management, and external partners (e.g., labor authorities, training providers).
What We’re Looking For
Experience in Human Resources, ideally in hospitality or restaurants.
Proficiency in English
Strong knowledge of local labor law, payroll, and HR best practices.
Ethical, discreet, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving.
Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
People-focused, approachable, and committed to employee well-being and development.
