Location: Lucia Restaurant, Cannes

Contract: Full Time


Position Overview

As Pastry Chef you bring creativity, precision and consistency to all dessert offerings. You are responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, cakes and desserts while ensuring kitchen hygiene, team coordination and visual presentation in line with Lucia Resaurant standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of desserts including cakes, pies, breads and pastries
  • Decorate desserts with creativity and attention to visual detail
  • Control daily deliveries and manage stock for the pastry section
  • Follow recipes and portioning guidelines for consistency and quality
  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness at your workstation at all times
  • Monitor productivity, speed and accuracy in pastry preparation
  • Assist in developing new pastry items aligned with brand and concept
  • Support stock control, food cost awareness and waste reduction
  • Handle equipment safely and maintain tools in proper condition
  • Ensure food safety standards and health regulations are strictly followed
  • Receive and store ingredients properly with correct labelling and rotation
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen and service team
  • Train or support junior pastry staff as required
