Position: Sous Chef
Location: Marbella
Contract: Seasonal 


Position overview

As Sous Chef, you support the Executive Chef in leading the culinary team and ensuring a consistent, high-quality food experience. You supervise kitchen operations, guide junior chefs, and contribute to menu development, always reflecting the Nikki Beach lifestyle.


Key responsibilities
  • Supervise all kitchen stations and daily operations

  • Direct food preparation and delegate tasks efficiently

  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and visual standards

  • Collaborate on menu development and recipe testing

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team

  • Support inventory, ordering, and stock control

  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards

  • Troubleshoot during service and support high-volume periods

  • Coach commis chefs and apprentices; support scheduling

  • Assist with event menus and seasonal changes


What we’re looking for

  • 3–5+ years experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role (Sous Chef / Junior Sous / Chef de Partie acting up).
  • A passionate about food, hands-on, calm under pressure, a fast problem-solver, team-oriented, and open to new techniques and styles.
  • You know strong cooking techniques, food safety, menu planning, inventory & cost control, team coaching, equipment care, and high plating standards aligned with Nikki Beach expectations.
