PositionCashier / Floor Cashier
Location: Santorini, Greece

ContractFull-Time, Seasonal

Schedule: 10:00 – 19:00, 4 Days Off per Month

Accommodation: Double Accommodation Provided


Position Overview

The Cashier plays a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient payment operations within the venue. This position is responsible for processing guest payments, verifying cashier reports, and ensuring all transactions comply with company procedures.

Working closely with the service, bar, and management teams, the Cashier supports the daily reconciliation of revenues and helps maintain operational transparency between the restaurant floor and the finance department. The role contributes to delivering Nikki Beach’s signature “Celebration of Life” experience by ensuring billing accuracy and smooth financial operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process all guest payments accurately including cash, credit cards, vouchers, gift certificates, and other payment methods.
  • Operate the POS system to open and close checks, ensuring all orders are correctly posted.
  • Conduct or support daily cash-outs with servers and bartenders and verify that all transactions match the daily POS readings.
  • Check credit card slips, cash receipts, and payment documentation to ensure they are complete and properly signed according to procedures.
  • Audit daily cash-out reports and reconcile them with POS readings and daily sales reports.
  • Track and maintain records of invitations, promotions, drink tickets, and other complimentary items.
  • Report discrepancies, missing documentation, or voided transactions to the floor manager and follow up when required.
  • Maintain and organize the cashier station, ensuring sufficient supplies such as envelopes, printer paper, and cash-out documentation.
  • Assist in preparing daily financial reports including flash reports and revenue summaries.
  • Support the administration team by organizing cash-out folders and maintaining accurate transaction records.
  • Handle guest billing inquiries in a professional and friendly manner, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal cash-handling procedures, security protocols, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with service staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Certain responsibilities also include verifying large transactions, maintaining documentation for high-value bills, and assisting with revenue auditing and daily reporting procedures.

What We're Looking For
 

  • Previous experience as a cashier, ideally within a hospitality, restaurant, or nightlife environment.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and common payment methods.
  • Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
