Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to operational leadership, driving people initiatives that support business performance across assigned venues and regions. This role is responsible for workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, leadership development, talent management, compensation processes, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. The HRBP balances commercial objectives with employee engagement, legal compliance, and Nikki Beach's people-first culture.


 Key Responsibilities 

  • Partner with General Managers and operational leaders to develop workforce plans aligned with business objectives and seasonal demands.
  • Advise leadership on organizational structure, staffing models, succession planning, and talent development strategies.
  • Support labor cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service excellence and employee engagement.
  • Lead annual performance management, calibration, and talent review processes.
  • Drive succession planning and internal mobility opportunities for both seasonal and permanent employees.
  • Coach managers on performance management, feedback delivery, goal setting, and leadership development.
  • Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employee relations matters across assigned regions.
  • Manage investigations, disciplinary processes, performance improvement plans, and employee grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on employment-related matters.
  • Review, update, and localize HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze workforce metrics including turnover, absenteeism, labor productivity, service charge distribution, and employee engagement.
  • Translate people data into actionable recommendations that improve operational performance.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Oversee payroll governance processes across assigned regions.
  • Validate salary changes, allowances, service charge allocations, and statutory payments.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of payroll-related issues.
  • Champion employee engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Support leaders in creating positive workplace cultures that reflect Nikki Beach values.
  • Develop action plans based on employee feedback and engagement results.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders and department heads.
  • Manage communications, timelines, and risks associated with people initiatives.
  • Support works councils, unions, and employee representative bodies where applicable.

 Who you are

  • 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including HRBP or senior HR management experience.
  • Strong employee relations expertise across multiple European jurisdictions.
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation, particularly French and Spanish employment law; exposure to Monaco and Italy is advantageous.
  • Experience managing performance, talent, compensation, and succession planning processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and drive business decisions.
  • Experience working in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, retail, leisure, or other fast-paced service industries.
  • Knowledge of payroll governance, HRIS, ATS, and workforce management systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Fluent English required; strong French and Spanish proficiency required.
  • Ability to travel across assigned regions and support operational teams during peak seasons.
