: HR Manager – Lucia Marbella

Location: Lucia Marbella – Marbella, Málaga, Spain

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Contract: Seasonal Contract (11 months per year - Fijo Discontinuo)


Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead the Human Resources strategy and day-to-day operations for Lucia Marbella. This role will oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring an outstanding employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through to development, engagement, and retention.

As the main HR representative for the restaurant, you will manage recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, workforce budgeting, and compliance with Spanish labor legislation. Working closely with the General Manager and department heads, you will help build a high-performing, positive workplace culture that reflects the service excellence and luxury standards of Lucia Marbella and Nikki Beach Hospitality Group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment and selection process for all restaurant positions.
  • Partner with department managers to identify hiring needs and workforce planning requirements.
  • Advertise vacancies, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and coordinate the hiring process.
  • Develop relationships with hospitality schools, recruitment agencies, and other talent sources.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Drive internal promotions and succession planning initiatives.
  • Prepare all employment documentation and coordinate new hire onboarding.
  • Monitor probation periods and coordinate performance reviews for new employees.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Manage employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace investigations with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and validate payroll information, including attendance, leave, overtime, tips, service charge, and other variable compensation.
  • Manage employment contracts, renewals, and all mandatory HR documentation.
  • Monitor labor costs and personnel budgets alongside the General Manager and Finance team.
  • Analyze workforce costs and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and KPIs, including turnover, absenteeism, labor costs, recruitment metrics, and headcount analysis.
  • Update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks when required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee information.
  • Promote the values and culture of Nikki Beach Hospitality Group.
  • Support department managers in developing, coaching, and leading their teams.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Significant HR management experience within hospitality, restaurants, luxury hotels, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish labor legislation and employee relations.
  • Proven experience managing recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and labor cost control.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent Spanish and professional English are highly desirable.
