Neirs Tavern is New York City’s oldest continuously operating tavern. Founded in 1829, it retains much of its historical character, including authentic Honduran mahogany bar counter dating back to the early 1800s. This historic gem has one of the last remaining 100~year old ice cooled draught beer system. It’s famed for being the bar location of the classic film Goodfellas, Ben Stiller’s “Tower Heist”, America’s original sex symbol, Mae West, first performed.
