  • Work flexibly across different sections of the kitchen, including Sauce, Ogo (adult dining), Plant, Fish & Grill (family dining), Breakfast and Pastry.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new recipes and seasonal menu items.
  • Complete daily mise en place efficiently and to the required standard.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organisation and food safety compliance.
  • Train, support and supervise Commis Chefs and apprentices within your section.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to support both in-house dining and retail production.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory management.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods.
  • Contribute ideas and creativity to help continually evolve our food offering.
Qualifications (Essential):
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Good knowledge of classic cooking techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
  • Passion for quality ingredients and great food.
Desirable:
  • Relevant culinary qualification.
  • Experience working across multiple kitchen sections.
  • Experience supporting junior team members and developing others.
Key Skills:
  • Passion for food and hospitality.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Excellent organisation and time management.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for seasonal cooking.
