You’ll be helping to craft beautiful, sustainable dishes that celebrate the best of local produce. Responsibilities and Duties:Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with Scarlet’s food philosophy
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Contribute to menu development with creative input
Ensure consistency and excellence in every plate
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen
Food Safety Level 2 (essential)
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Professional Cookery (desired)
Passion for sustainability and local sourcing
Strong communication and teamwork
Attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work under pressure
Creativity and a willingness to learn
Time management and organisational skills
£13.80 hourly rate plus a share of hotel tips
