This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment where hospitality meets creativity and no two days ever feel the same.
This is a full time role, working 40 hours across the week on a rota basis with a start date of 22nd June 2026, however some flexibility around this start date can be agreed for the right candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding each guest’s vision and event needs
• Confidently sell and upsell venues, packages and hotel services to meet sales targets • Lead venue show rounds and create memorable first impressions of the hotels
• Draft tailored proposals, manage contracts and deposits, and maintain accurate booking details
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth handovers and seamless event delivery
• Gather post‑event feedback and proactively encourage repeat business
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and new sales opportunities
Qualifications:
• Experience in sales, events, hospitality or reservations (desirable)
• Excellent written, verbal and in‑person communication skills
• A confident and friendly telephone manner
• Highly organised, detail‑focused and proactive
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with booking systems or CRM software (training provided)
• An interest in weddings, hospitality, sustainability or independent businesses is welcomed
Key Skills:
• Sales and relationship‑building
• Communication and active listening
• Organisation and time management
• Team collaboration
• Problem‑solving and adaptability
• Confidence and professionalism
As a family-owned, independent Cornish business, we value every member of our talented team. We offer a range of benefits and perks to reflect our commitment to making our hotels such a desirable place to work. These include:
• £12.71 per hour
• A people‑centric working environment
• Learning and internal career progression opportunities
• A permanent contract with 28 days holiday per year (29 after 1 year)
• Long service scheme — enjoy a free stay at Bedruthan after your first year
• Enjoy 40% off food and drinks, plus discounts across hotel services
• Local partnership discounts, including discounted gym membership
• Health Shield Healthcare Plan
• Temporary on‑site team accommodation is available
