We’re looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Host to join the team at Bedruthan Hotel. This role is all about first impressions, great service and lasting memories — creating relaxed, welcoming experiences for families, couples and groups from the moment they arrive.

As a Host, you’ll be the face of our restaurant and café spaces, greeting guests, managing bookings and delivering a smooth service. You’ll take pride in creating high quality service with care and consistency. Working as part of a team, you’ll help ensure a vibrant, well‑organised environment where guests feel truly looked after — and where our RED values shine through in everything you do.

This is a permanent contract with a minimum of 32 hours per week, working Monday to Sunday on a rota basis. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver a warm, friendly and professional welcome to every guest
• Manage reservations and seating efficiently to maintain smooth, enjoyable service
• Maintain clear communication with the kitchen and F&B team during service
• Keep all guest‑facing areas clean, organised and inviting at all times
• Working as part of a team to ensure a seamless guest journey
• Build strong knowledge of menus, coffee offerings, daily specials and dietary requirements
• Respond to guest questions and requests with confidence, care and positivity
• Bring energy to every shift, even during busy periods, helping set the tone for the team
• Actively engage in your own training and development and support that of others

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage or guest service roles preferred
• Experience in host, reception or front‑of‑house roles advantageous
• Passion for hospitality, people and delivering consistently great experiences
