New York Cruise Line is looking for a talented graphic designer to join our nimble marketing team. This exciting and dynamic opportunity will challenge the ideal candidate to develop compelling and effective creative for our six iconic consumer brands across multiple platforms and channels.
Responsibilities Include
● Conceptualize and create innovative and effective designs for a variety of projects including marketing campaigns, advertising, web/digital/mobile assets, email campaigns and sales collateral - from ideation to execution.
● Produce a broad range of creative work including print/digital assets, video, general public and charter brochures, trade show materials, OOH graphics, display advertising, in-house graphics, etc.
● Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to articulate audience specific stories and programs using outstanding creative to support specific products, programs and initiatives.
● Implement brand system for six consumer facing brands and provide direction and feedback internally and to agencies to ensure consistency with design systems and guidelines.
● Develop a solid understanding of NYCL brands, products and audiences.
● Partner with brand marketing teams to support and evolve brand guidelines.
● Maintain asset library
● Work with agencies, outside contractors, photographers, videographers and/or internal teams as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
● 2-3 years experience designing for digital media (display ads, web, mobile).
● Experience designing advertising, collateral and marketing collateral for a consumer brand (tourism, hospitality, travel a plus).
● Excellent and diverse creative portfolio that exemplifies creative concepting and execution.
● Proven track record working with internal design teams and/or agencies to elevate the quality, creativity and deliverables developed.
● Outstanding team player; excellent collaboration and communication skills.
● Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter that can juggle multiple projects and overlapping deadlines.
● “Can do” personality that thrives in a deadline driven and rapidly changing environment.
● Demonstrate quality and thoroughness in all aspects of work performed with appropriate levels of independence.
● Video editing skills a big plus.
● BA/BFA or related degree in design.
● Familiarity with Basecamp a plus.
