We are hiring an experienced Host to join the team at Noble Smoke. In this role, you will help manage the flow of the dining room, greet and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and ensure every guest receives a strong first impression. This position plays an important part in setting the tone for service and supporting a smooth, organized guest experience throughout each shift. 

Availability to work Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM is required for this position.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, setting the tone for their dining experience
• Manage reservations and waitlists through the reservation system, giving accurate wait times during peak periods
• Coordinate guest seating with the service and management teams to maintain smooth flow of service
• Communicate special requests, accessibility needs, or large party details to the team
• Maintain a polished and organized host stand, entrance, and waiting areas
• Answer phones professionally, assisting with inquiries, reservations, and takeout orders
• Support opening and closing procedures for the host stand and entrance area
• Assist management in training, guiding, and setting expectations for the host team

What You’ll Bring

• 1 or more years of experience in a guest-facing role within a high-volume restaurant
• Proficiency with the OpenTable reservation system
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate table flow simultaneously
• A warm, welcoming presence with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
