Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • - Prepare and bake a variety of breads
  • - Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
  • - Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
  • - Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
  • - Clean and sanitize work area and equipment regularly
  • - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation

Additional Skills and Responsibilities

  • - Previous experience as a baker or in a similar role
  • - Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • - Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
  • - Proficient in using kitchen tools, such as knives, mixers, and ovens
  • - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • - Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
  • - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • - Good communication skills to interact with customers and other team members

Preferred Skills

  • - Experience in cake decorating or pastry arts
  • - Familiarity with catering or restaurant kitchen operations

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • -May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
  • -Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time.
  • -Working in an environment that may be exposed to hazardous equipment and situations and conditions that produce cuts or minor burns.
  • -Sometimes wear protective and safety attire, such as gloves.
