Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen SouthPark is looking for skilled Catering Cooks to join our team. We’re known for simple, ingredient-driven cooking with wood-fired meats, fresh seafood, seasonal vegetables, and house-made breads. Our kitchen combines the relaxed feel of upscale casual dining with the standards and attention to detail of fine dining.

In this role you will be part of the Rooster’s SouthPark culinary team supporting both onsite and offsite catering events. You will produce menu items for private dining and hosted events within the restaurant, prepare and execute food for offsite catering functions, and represent Rooster’s with professionalism at client locations. This position requires the skill and precision of a restaurant cook combined with the adaptability and organization of a catering professional.

What You’ll Do

• Execute catering and event dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Prepare and package menu items for offsite events while maintaining presentation and quality standards
• Cook and serve food at client locations, ensuring timing, temperature, and safety standards are met
• Support onsite private dining events, working closely with chefs to align with Rooster’s service standards
• Maintain prep lists, complete assigned production tasks, and assist with event load-outs and setups
• Keep stations, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized while following all food safety protocols
• Collaborate with chefs and event managers to execute seamless service for both onsite and offsite events
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the culinary or management team

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
• Strong foundation in cooking methods, knife skills, and plating
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized station and follow recipe standards
• Calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment
