At The Jimmy, we bring the best of Italian cuisine to Charlotte with our vibrant pizzeria and pastaria. From hand-stretched pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven to house-made pastas, we are passionate about creating made-from-scratch dishes.  Located in Myers Park, we offer a perfect atmosphere for a casual yet elevated dining experience, where great food is paired with exceptional service and a true sense of community.

As part of Noble Food & Pursuits, we are dedicated to creating exceptional dining experiences while giving back to the communities that support us through local outreach and charitable efforts. What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen with a strong foundation in classic cooking methods, knife skills, sauce making, and plating.
  • Pride in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and managing food costs, inventory, and production in a timely manner.
  • Confident, calm under pressure, and enjoy leading by example, helping to elevate the team’s performance.
  • Team-oriented and enjoy working closely with others to solve challenges and achieve collective goals.
  • Passionate about food and hospitality with eagerness to continue learning, growing, and making a positive impact on the team and guests.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with overseeing kitchen staff and ensuring smooth service operations during shifts.
  • Support and mentor line cooks, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation while continuing to elevate team skills.
  • Manage prep work, assist with inventory control, place orders, and support the kitchen with production tasks.
  • Work hand-in-hand with other Sous Chefs and Executive Chef to meet daily production goals and uphold high standards.
  • Promote the Noble Food & Pursuits mission, creating an environment where staff and guests feel valued.
