At The Jimmy, we bring the best of Italian cuisine to Charlotte with our vibrant pizzeria and pastaria. From hand-stretched pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven to house-made pastas, we focus on simple, made-from-scratch food done the right way. Located in Myers Park, we offer a casual but elevated dining experience built on consistency, quality, and strong execution.

As part of Noble Food & Pursuits, we are focused on building teams, not just filling roles. This is not a finished Sous Chef role. This is a development position for a strong line cook or early leader who is ready to take the next step. You will be trained, developed, and expected to grow into a full Sous Chef position.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong fundamentals in knife skills and station execution
  • Desire to step into a leadership role and take on more responsibility
  • Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean, consistent station
  • Calm under pressure and coachable
  • Team-focused with a willingness to support others and improve the kitchen
  • Genuine interest in food and continued development

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Work alongside Sous Chefs and Executive Chef to learn ordering, inventory, and prep systems
  • Help train and support line cooks while building your own leadership skills
  • Maintain strong performance on your station while learning other areas of the kitchen
  • Assist with prep, production, and organization of the kitchen
  • Uphold Noble Food & Pursuits standards and culture every shift
