At The Jimmy, we bring the best of Italian cuisine to Charlotte with our vibrant pizzeria and pastaria. From hand-stretched pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven to house-made pastas, we focus on simple, made-from-scratch food done the right way. Located in Myers Park, we offer a casual but elevated dining experience built on consistency, quality, and strong execution.

As part of Noble Food & Pursuits, we are focused on building teams, not just filling roles. We are looking for a chef with strong experience in fresh pasta production and execution who is ready to continue growing within a chef-driven kitchen. While leadership experience is always valuable, the ability to work with and execute high quality fresh pasta consistently is the most important part of this role.

This can be a strong opportunity for a talented line cook, Chef de Partie, or early kitchen leader looking to continue developing leadership skills within a high standards environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with fresh pasta production in a scratch kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of dough consistency, rolling, cutting, shaping, cooking, and handling fresh pasta
  • Strong fundamentals in knife skills, station execution, and kitchen organization
  • Ability to stay calm and organized in a high volume kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in consistency and execution
  • Leadership experience is a plus, but not required for the right culinary candidate
  • Team-focused mentality with a willingness to support and develop others
  • Desire to continue growing within a chef-driven restaurant group

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily kitchen operations and service execution
  • Work directly with the culinary leadership team on fresh pasta production, prep systems, and execution standards
  • Help maintain consistency and quality across all pasta production and service
  • Support prep, production, station setup, organization, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Continue developing leadership and operational skills alongside the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef
  • Maintain Noble Food & Pursuits standards and culture every shift
  • Assist in training and supporting line cooks while continuing your own development
