Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced prep cook who has both the passion and knowledge to produce amazing food to join our team at Copain Bakery & Provisions. This position provides a great opportunity for growth and to learn amazing food. We are looking for people with passion for cooking, who are willing to learn, as well as teach. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 – 45 per week

Shift:
- Day shift
- Night shift
Service and Maintenance
- Restocks supplies and ingredients during shifts.
- Sets up and stocks workstation with necessary supplies.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization during and after shifts.
- Assist with chopping, peeling, portioning, and other simple prep tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
- Prepares and portions ingredients for recipes.
- Responds to changing priorities during shift.
- Handles special requests or dietary accommodations with professionalism.
- Completes other duties assigned by management.
Experience/Education
- Proven experience as a prep cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
