We are hiring a Bakery Café General Manager to lead our Winston Salem bakery café and retail shop. This role calls for a hands on, highly organized leader who can balance hospitality, daily execution, financial performance, and team development in a fast paced environment. The Bakery Café General Manager will set the tone for the guest experience, drive operational excellence, and lead the team in a way that reflects the standards and culture of Noble Food & Pursuits.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead all aspects of bakery café and retail operations with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences
  • Build, train, and mentor a strong team that leads with accountability, hospitality, communication, and professionalism
  • Oversee daily operations including service flow, staffing, labor management, product presentation, cleanliness, and overall execution of standards
  • Manage financial performance by monitoring sales, labor, controllable costs, and operating efficiency through systems such as Toast, Cybake, and Restaurant365
  • Partner with bakery and culinary leadership to ensure strong alignment between production, ordering, in store execution, merchandising, and product knowledge
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management for the team while creating a culture centered around growth and consistency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest ready environment while ensuring all safety, sanitation, and health standards are upheld
  • Help drive community engagement and local store awareness by creating an inviting and well run neighborhood destination
