Operations Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager | Nightlife to join the team at 77 - The BoTree’s exciting nightlife and events venue in Marylebone. 77 brings together bar and floor service, music, private events and venue programming to create an exceptional guest experience.

Reporting to the Nightlife General Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day bar and floor operation from opening through to close, with a clear focus on service standards, team leadership, safe operations and commercial performance.

The role:

·       Lead nightly service, private events and venue programming across the bar and floor.

·       Manage, train and develop the bar and floor teams, including performance reviews.

·       Coordinate opening, service and closing procedures, staffing and pre-shift briefings.

·       Maintain a visible management presence, overseeing guest flow, service standards and issue resolution.

·       Work closely with Music, Production, Security and wider hotel teams on events and performances.

·       Monitor commercial and service performance, including staffing, stock, cash and operational controls.

·       Ensure compliance with licensing, responsible alcohol service, health and safety and company standards.

We’re looking for:

·       Management experience within a premium nightlife venue, high-volume bar or comparable hospitality environment.

·       Strong knowledge of both bar and floor operations, with confident team leadership and guest service skills.

·       Commercial awareness and sound judgement when leading busy services and making operational decisions.

·       Working knowledge of licensing, responsible alcohol service and health and safety requirements.

·       Clear communication and the ability to collaborate effectively across specialist and hotel teams.

·       Flexibility to work nights, weekends and event-led schedules.
