As a Part-Time Night Porter, you will be working in our stunning 40-bedroom boutique lifestyle hotel in the heart of Henley-on-Thames. Joining the dynamic and passionate team at The Relais Henley, you will play an important role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service throughout the evening and overnight hours.

The Role

Working various shifts between 10pm – 6am and 11pm – 7am, your role as Night Porter will involve looking after our guests overnight, ensuring the smooth running of the hotel, and preparing the property for the following day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a warm and professional welcome to guests, setting the scene for an exceptional stay and  processing late check ins and early check outs

  • Assisting guests with any overnight requests or requirements

  • Running the night audit and completing administrative tasks

  • Carrying out regular security patrols across the hotel

  • Supporting reception and bar operations when required

  • Undertaking basic cleaning of public areas to ensure the hotel is guest-ready each morning

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high service standards throughout the hotel

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous hospitality or hotel experience is desirable, although full training will be provided

  • Experience working within bar and reception areas is beneficial

  • Proactive and willing to support colleagues across departments

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Computer literate

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Presentable and professional at all times

  • Must be aged 18 or over
