Position Overview

At Nikki Beach Baku, the Barback is an essential team member who supports the seamless operation of the bar and overall guest experience. Working closely with bartenders, you ensure the bar is consistently stocked, clean, and service-ready at all times. With strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs, you contribute to the vibrant, high-energy atmosphere that defines the Nikki Beach experience. This role also provides a strong foundation for those looking to grow within mixology and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with daily setup, service, and breakdown
• Ensure continuous stock of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
• Prepare mise-en-place including juices, syrups, and garnishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Polish glassware and ensure presentation meets brand standards
• Restock efficiently during peak service periods
• Monitor ice levels and maintain proper hygiene standards
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in preparing cocktail ingredients and dehydrated garnishes
• Communicate effectively and support team operations proactively
• Minimize waste and support sustainability initiatives
• Stay composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Complete opening, closing, and shift checklists
• Participate in events and team activations as required

What We’re Looking For

• Basic knowledge of bar operations and setup
• Strong communication skills and proactive mindset
• Ability to anticipate team needs and work collaboratively
• Good understanding of hygiene and storage standards
• Physically able to lift and carry supplies safely
• Organized, efficient, and able to multitask
• Professional presentation and reliable time management
• Team-oriented with a guest-first attitude
• Positive energy aligned with Nikki Beach culture
• Interest in learning mixology and beverage service
• Ability to perform in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English (additional languages such as Russian or Azerbaijani are a plus)
