Do you know your way around a cocktail shaker better than most know their way around the Turner Contemporary? Can you pour a pint with pride, shake a margarita with flair, and serve every guest like they’ve just stepped off the beach and into something special?

Here at No.42 Margate by GuestHouse, we’re a small but stylish, family-run boutique hotel, and we’re looking for a Bartender who can bring energy, elegance, and excellent service to our bar team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Mixing, pouring, and serving drinks with flair and precision
• Creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests — whether they’re locals or travellers
• Keeping the bar stocked, spotless, and running like clockwork
• Suggesting drinks, sharing stories, and occasionally dazzling with your cocktail knowledge
• Supporting the team during busy shifts
• Share your knowledge of the menu, local produce, and maybe even a fun fact about the Turner Contemporary

What we’re looking for:

• Experienced behind the bar and confident in a fast-paced environment and strong Knowledge of COCKTAILS 
• Passionate about great drinks and even better service
• Calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and always guest-focused
• Ready to bring warmth, wit, and a touch of Margate magic to every shift
