We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic Hotel Manager to lead our dedicated team and drive the continued success and growth of this prestigious property. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, working alongside the Senior Management team under the new ownership to realize their ambitious vision for Northcote's future.

As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across accommodation, dining, private events, and the cook school.
  • Leading and inspiring a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining and enhancing the hotel's reputation for unparalleled luxury, service, and culinary excellence.
  • Assist in overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and cost control.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and health and safety requirements.
  • Working with the Senior Management team to implement the expansion plans, including the successful launch of the new restaurant and other hotel developments.
  • Implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Cultivating strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of quality, presentation, and maintenance throughout the property.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior management role within the luxury hotel market is essential.
  • Strong food and beverage experience within high-end hospitality, with a deep understanding of Michelin-level service and standards.
  • A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing and developing multiple revenue streams, including restaurants, events, and other hotel facilities.
  • A strong understanding of front office, rates and revenue management principles within the luxury sector.
  • Experience with property management systems and other relevant technologies.
