Junior Sous Chef – Oblix at the Shard 

 
 

Located on the 32nd floor of The Shard, Oblix is a sophisticated, contemporary restaurant, split across two different spaces offering views across central London from East to West. 

 

Oblix West is a refined, urban dining space with open fire dining and a modern menu.

Oblix East offers diners an eclectic mix of innovative dishes along with award-winning cocktails and afternoon tea. 

 

 

About the Role 

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef  to join our vibrant team at Oblix at The ShardAs a key member of our culinary leadership team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the creativity, precision, and consistency that define the Oblix dining experience, supporting the senior chefs, inspiring the brigade, and ensuring every plate reflects our commitment to excellence.

Our Junior Sous Chef  are dedicated, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, all while upholding Oblix’s renowned high standards. Full of personality and professionalism, you’ll inspire your team to deliver the outstanding service and seamless guest experience that define us. 

 

 

Our ideal Junior Sous Chef 

 

  • Previous experience as Senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant 

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a large team 

  • Eager to learn and develop both yourself and your team 

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
