Location: The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London
Salary: 40K including tronc

The Role:
We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our team. This is a dual-focused role that involves supporting the General Manager and leading the floor team in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, while also leading our exciting events program.

As Restaurant Manager you’ll:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant, delivering impeccable service and maintaining the highest standards of fine dining.
  • Manage the end-to-end coordination of events, from enquiry to execution, ensuring exceptional experiences for our clients.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to streamline operations and implement innovative ideas.
  • Be hands-on with reactive event sales, promptly responding to enquiries and tailoring offerings to client needs.
  • Take a proactive sales approach, reaching out to potential clients and building lasting relationships to bring in new business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a premium or fine dining environment, with a strong understanding of front-of-house operations.
  • Strong passion and experience in events organization.
  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous involvement in event management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly.
  • A self-starter attitude, confident in reaching out to clients and promoting Ochre as the premier destination for events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire your team and engage with diverse clientele.
  • A love for food, drink, and culture, with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
