Position: Events Manager

Salary: 36K inclusive of tronc

Location: The National Gallery – Trafalgar Square

Working hours: Monday – Friday – 48 hour contract (with flexibility of some evenings and weekend)

As Events Manager at Ochre, a fantastic fine dining restaurant inside the National Gallery, you will be responsible for delivering and organising a first rate customer experience. These events vary between a 10 people 3-course lunch/dinner to a 200 people canape party.

You’ll be responsible for booking, planning and coordinating a range of events ensuring the events team is trained and organised as well as working closely with our Executive Chef, Operations Manager, Head Events Chef and managing and recruiting FOH team when needed for different events.

A variety of events are held at Ochre and The National Gallery, so forward planning and organising the preparation of future events will be key. The role will require collaboration with the gallery at all times.
