Position Summary:

At OfCorsica, the Expeditor serves as the vital link between our kitchen and dining room, ensuring that each dish is prepared accurately, presented beautifully, and delivered promptly. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of service, upholding our high standards, and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Tasks/Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate the flow of orders from the front-of-house to the kitchen, ensuring timely and accurate preparation.
• Verify that each dish meets OfCorsica's quality and presentation standards before it reaches the guest.
• Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies to kitchen staff effectively.
• Assist in the final preparation of dishes, adding garnishes and ensuring cleanliness of plate edges.
• Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders to maintain efficient service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure synchronized delivery of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

• Keen attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
