Position Summary:
At OfCorsica, the Assistant Kitchen Manager supports the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in overseeing daily culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity that reflect the spirit and style of the Mediterranean. This role is hands-on and team-oriented, fostering a positive kitchen culture while upholding our food philosophy, hospitality values, and operational excellence.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
General Leadership2+ years of experience in kitchen leadership within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and labor regulations
Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate kitchen teams
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
ServeSafe certification required (or ability to obtain)
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
