Position Summary:
We are seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Maître D’ to be the face of our guest experience. As the first point of contact, you will set the tone for service by warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations and walk-ins, and ensuring a seamless flow of dining room operations. You are a natural host, brand ambassador, and service leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
2+ years of experience as a Maître D’ or Lead Host in a high-volume NYC restaurant or hospitality venue
Impeccable grooming, communication skills, and guest-focused mindset
Deep understanding of hospitality etiquette, pacing, and reservation dynamics
Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software (Resy / Toast)
Calm and composed under pressure, excellent multitasking skills
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of fine dining, wine, and culinary trends is a plus
