Income Auditor

We are seeking a meticulous and commercially aware Income Auditor to join our finance team at a dynamic and evolving time for RBH Hotels. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of revenue reporting across a diverse portfolio of hotel operations.

In this position, you will work closely with hotel teams, night audit staff, and RBH’s central finance function to deliver accurate daily income reporting, reinforce revenue controls, and uphold compliance with internal policies and brand standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy will directly support operational performance, guest trust, and the overall commercial success of our business.

As Income Auditor, you'll play a key part in keeping our daily revenue on track and accurate, helping hotel teams stay on top of their game. Your work will give the business the confidence to make smart decisions, stay compliant, and spot any issues before they become problems.

What You’ll Be Doing

Deliver Accurate & Timely Revenue Reporting

• Audit daily income across all revenue streams, ensuring postings are accurate and in line with policy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in revenue, deposits, cash handling, and vouchers.
• Update systems and trackers (e.g. Opera, WBDS) with accurate daily revenue, cover counts, and settlement data.
• Produce and share daily and weekly income audit reports with key stakeholders.
• Support accurate month-end reconciliations, including cash control and deposit accounts.

Support Governance & Compliance

• Monitor compliance with revenue and cash control procedures across all departments.
• Work closely with Night Audit and operational teams to ensure audit tasks and financial handovers are completed correctly.
• Flag and escalate any irregularities or policy breaches in line with company procedures.
• Assist with internal audits and maintain clean, well-documented financial records.

Collaborate & Add Value

• Partner with hotel teams to improve understanding of financial controls and processes.
• Provide feedback and guidance to operational departments on revenue best practices.
• Contribute to training and awareness on financial compliance across the business.
• Play a key role in supporting a strong control environment that underpins commercial success.

What You’ll Bring

• You might be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working towards it. Either way, you're confident with numbers and know how to use them to support smart decisions.
• You’ve got a sharp eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a methodical approach to your work.
• You understand how internal controls work and why they matter – especially in a busy, multi-department environment.
• Experience working across multiple properties or in a cluster role is a real plus, particularly if it's in hospitality.
• You’re a great communicator, able to work closely with both finance and operational teams and build strong relationships across the business.
• You’re ambitious, proactive, and looking for a role where you can grow, take ownership, and make a real impact.
