A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR AT OLD TOWN CHAMBERS
What you'll be doing...

  1. Lead and support the F&B team during service, ensuring guests receive warm, attentive and professional service throughout their stay.
  2. Supervise day-to-day F&B operations, ensuring service runs smoothly and standards are consistently maintained.
  3. Lead by example during busy periods, remaining hands-on and stepping in wherever needed to support the team.
  4. Welcome guests, respond to requests and feedback, and resolve any service issues professionally and confidently.
  5. Brief and guide team members during shifts, allocating tasks and supporting colleagues to deliver an efficient service.
  6. Monitor food and beverage presentation, stock levels, cleanliness and health & safety standards across the operation.
  7. Support the training and development of team members, working closely with the wider team to create a seamless guest experience.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  1. Previous food and beverage experience, ideally within a supervisory or senior team member role.
  2. A warm, professional and approachable personality with a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences.
  3. Strong communication skills and the confidence to lead and support a team during busy service periods.
  4. Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and keep service running smoothly.
  5. A hands-on approach — you're happy to get stuck in and lead by example when the team needs you.
  6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and safety.
  7. A positive, team-focused attitude with the flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
