Welcome to KFC.

Take one man with a big idea, add 11 herbs and spices, grit, ambition, and buckets of heart – you’ve got KFC.

Since 1939, we’ve been bringing finger lickin’ good chicken to the world, and today we’re proud to be in over 1000 communities across the UK & Ireland. But without our people, none of it would be possible. Just like our recipe, they’re all original.

KFC is part of the Yum! Brands Group and also includes the Pizza Hut, Taco Bell brands.

Join us. Bring it. And together, we can be part of something truly extraordinary.

Bringing it to the role.

The New Restaurant Opening Coach role is to ensure best-in-class new restaurant operations across the UKI market by developing strategic relationships and providing operational leadership to the equity restaurants. The role will unlock growth by strengthening their existing NRO operations through developing a bespoke plan for each NRO, Image Enhancement (IE) and Refresher to continue to improve Operational performance in new and existing assets.

Partner with the Equity Leadership team to build talent, cultural capability and self-sufficiency when planning for restaurant openings. Ensuring that they are following the correct pre-launch roadmap to open new restaurants, IEs and Refreshers to brand standard through a structured support process. Influence and coach the team to adhere to all operational standards to ensure consistent NRO/IE/Refresher performance across their restaurant portfolio, and both recommend/manage the appropriate interventions and/or consequences for underperforming restaurants.

This role will be a field-based role working across the UK&I.

What you’ll do

  • Improve execution and delivery of NRO’s, IE’s and Refreshers by bringing to life the NRO process across the Equity system to ensure new restaurants are successfully opening to brand standard.
  • Create and elevate data-led insights and reporting to deliver against appropriate measures, and signal points of intervention when required with tail NRO’s.
  • Provide counsel and challenge by working cross-functionally across the RSC to ensure a consistent approach in delivering positive restaurant openings.
  • Execute the strategy through the delivery of consistent rhythm and routine.
  • Spend time in the field ensuring operational knowledge is always current
  • Attend and participate in relevant comms meetings to present, facilitate and add clarity to content. Ensure relevant audience attendance and participation.
  • Provide updates for RSC, REX LT, & LT meetings and attend where necessary
  • Attend relevant KFC Forums where directed/requested.
  • Effectively manage and plan schedule to ensure diary appoints are met
  • Ensure periodic decks, reports, & PBR are kept up to date.
